Now this is what I call a two fingers up to all food snobs....

A recent article I came across (see link below). Not sure I'll bet trying it out anytime soon, but it just goes to show if you think outside of the box you might come across a little nugget (excuse the pun!).....good on yer pal

Why?

Food. Grub. Scram. Tuckker. Supper.Brekkie. Tea. Dinner. Lunch. Brunch. Munch.

Whatever you call it, it is important to all of us and especially important to me as it’s all I ever think about - morning, noon and night!

I was taught about food from an early age, partly by a grandmother with an uncanny ability to produce everything from nothing and a chef for a father. I guess, it was inevitable that I was going to inherit some culinary ability. But my obsession with food doesn’t stop at rustling up sunday lunch for friends and family, flicking through the latest glossy cook book or even gawping at Nigella’s latest seductive cooking technique! For me it’s also about how food influences culture, family, society and generally the way people think about food.

Therefore, I decided to start this blog in the vain hope it would go some way to help me satisfy the creative side in me, perhaps learn some new skills along the way.

I’m not one for writing recipes (although I hope to add some of my recipes along the way) but this blog will merely be my commentary on all things foodie that i think about on a daily basis – from sausage and chips to fois gras, from the merits of MacDonald’s to the snobbery of fine dining and everything else in between!
